I started my day early with 11 of my Reos staged with fresh batts, juiced and with the right atty's ready to go... and had a nice chat with the Reomeister. It just doesn't get any better than that... bar none on either account. A little over 7.5 months in, and every time I pick up and hit any Reo it's the same as that very first hit on the very first Reo. From the first day with a Reo my life was changed forever, their presence in my life inspires me, I feel them with all my senses and have finally found the vape gear that'll carry me in total bliss to the end. Thanks Rob, and thanks to the fine folks of Reoville. Spy

I had this mental shift when I got my Reo. I had a bunch of clone mech mods and low wattage regulated devices like the MVP and the VTR and an array of clearo / cartos / RTA's that I was using. Everything had all these caveats, I was constantly messing with them to get good performance, and vaping was kind of a chore. I stuck with it because it was keeping me from smoking and I was interested in the technology. I had a choice come up a few months ago - a Reo mini or a high wattage regulated box. I chose the Reo and I don't regret it for a SECOND. It is the most consistent, simple, and tough mechanical device I own and the first one I can consistently read. I know exactly how much juice is in the RDA, how much power is left in the battery, and how close it is to needing a cleaning. Its basically turned into an extension of my hand. Couple that with the excellent customer service I have gotten from Rob and his provided help bringing my mini back to life - it is double trouble. Everything else I fiddled with before has been given away. I'm saving up for a SP Grande and look forward to the advancement Rob is bringing in the future. +1 Reolyfe.

Before my REOS I knew only heartbreak and suffering. Nothing really worked or it took an enormous effort to get to work. Now, I hardly even think about it, and when I do it is fixed/cleaned/rebuilt inside of 10 minutes and it vapes exactly the same. Done. Happy. :)

Ummm... I can haz some of what you're vaping? (In a Reo, of course.)

Wizard Labs Nic Base, VG and PG. Mix to desired Nicotine strength and PG/VG ratio for throat hit and nic needed.
(Mine 9mg in a 40/60 ratio with a 2ohm coil wicked with Japanese cotton, ratio achieved with advice from dannyv45 http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/dannyv45/6955-how-adjust-your-base-reduce-peppery-harsh-nicotine-taste.html)
Combined with a REOS LP Grand it delivers precisely repeatable results. But I stand on the shoulders of giants here, all I did was follow the advice of the community, mostly SuperX, as he was vaping unflavored and I just copied :)

EDIT: Seriously, that dannyv45 advice is almost required procedure. It saved me...

Hell yeah. REOs mods are all this kid vapes. From an aesthetic, performance, durability quality, simplicity and portability standpoint there is no better package. And they are made right here in the US by my good friend Robert E. O'neil.

Did I leave anything out?

The REO grand is a legend for a reason. And it's one of the few products that is actually improved when it's improved.

It's not "improved" just to cut cost - hell the design and construction - other than rounding the corners hasn't changed since the beginning.

The improvements are LP, SL, SS 510 connector and high output contacts and high heat buttons.

11 reos o_O

ETA: and that's just the ones you had ready for the day. How many in total do you own?

All I'm going to admit to at the moment is that the number will increase "significantly" next week.

Been right there with you Russ 99.99%, but that is about to change to 110%. I still had two GP PAPS X's set up with Senio drippers I used only to try out new joose with before it went in a Reo. "Had" because their batts and RDA's have been pulled and they are all slated to be cleaned this weekend and added to the rest of the stack of them that have been retired since I got my fist Reo. I'm going to dedicate a couple of Reos and several atty's to test try new joose with from now on. That makes way more sense... instead of constantly dripping just squonk.

Well this has got me thinking, mind you a rare enough occurrence to wonder if I am awake, that since Reos are built to last till the end of the world, what arrangements should I make for these items once I leave this world? Maybe I'll leave instructions to have them shipped back to Rob. He could then resell them as blems (LOL) or more likely he would PIF'd to some worthy person. I could have them sent to the Nerak REO Museum but she doesn't need my stuff to clutter her own collection. Hmm, I got time to ponder. Better finish my coffee.

Have a great weekend!

Looks like you you are forming a great list to select from as your plan. I'm sure you'll recognize the picture, but more on that later.

Some folks might call some of the hobbies I did with passion during my life quirky, but I didn't and still don't care, its my life. Among them I've left behind secret time capsules filled with mementos of my passions at that time that may or may not ever be discovered by future generations. And I was one of the original geocacher's starting about 14-15 years ago. Those grocaches I left with gifts and log books will be enjoyed by many other folks from many countries for a long time.

Since vaping will probably be my last passion in life, I have thought that it would be fitting to leave some of the best of my vaping gear behind in my last secret time capsule, and maybe some in geocache's where anyone who finds a cache can take one in trade for leaving something else behind in its place. My hiking days on broken ground are long gone, but I know someone I can enlist that will place them for me anywhere I want them.

In the picture somewhere in this general area is a secret capsule I buried over 47 years ago (yes I know exactly where, no I'm not going to say ;)). With the destruction after the base closed no idea if its still there though. Other markers are where I lived the first couple of months before moving off base, and the hanger where I worked. Anyway, the treasures within were both current and antique from several hobbies, many associated with the SFBA, Navy and time, some of the items around 50-100 years old then. Have fun if you go for it... take a metal detector. :)

This morning, I was organizing some stuff on my bookcase, and decided to take a stroll down memory lane. Since getting my first Reo, last summer, I haven't vaped anything else since. But for whatever reason, I pulled out one of my Nemesis, with a Kraken genisis RBA on it, filled it up, and decided to take it along with me, while I ran a few errands. Now, at one point in time, I was a confirmed mesh wick genisis user, and even though I eventually moved into conventional dripping, I still considered the well set up mesh genny to be the benchmark, for a full flavored vape. I was good at setting up mesh gennies, and had even instructed at a few rebuilding workshops, at local B&Ms.
Fortunately, it didn't take long to vape the Kraken completely empty, because the Kraken only holds a couple ml of juice, and with a dual coil set up, it was gone by the time I got home from errand hopping. By that time, I couldn't wait to get back to my Reos. I polished up the brass Nemi, cleaned out the Kraken, and back on the shelf it went. That's where it will stay, along with my collection of other tube mods, drippers, and gennies, until the next time I get a 'wild hair' about reminiscing.

Got to get me a metal detector! Don't think that area is open to the public at the moment but it will be worth going over there and take a look. :)

Another tidbit about sometime during the earlier history of the base in that same area... at low tide on the point at the northeast end of runway 13 you can find where somebody (the PX or ?) dumped a lot of unsaleable/no longer usable items... IE, metal uniform insignia's, badges, medals, web belt buckles and other gear that maybe had been broken or had been superseded by new designs, zippo lighters, tools, all kinds of things. And a lot of it. There was mostly Navy and Army gear found, which probably makes sense since starting in the mid 30's the base was built on the old Alameda Airport (built on manmade land) and the Army's Benton Field property. The effects of the bay saltwater gave them a great corrosion patina, and they could also be found in mass groups cemented together by corroison and marine life into what made for large, interesting displays. I had one on the fireplace mantel of my off base home about 6' long that was all Navy uniform insignia's and badges. Still have a few small items I picked up there in with my other military service memorabilia.
