Looks like you you are forming a great list to select from as your plan. I'm sure you'll recognize the picture, but more on that later.
Some folks might call some of the hobbies I did with passion during my life quirky, but I didn't and still don't care, its my life. Among them I've left behind secret time capsules filled with mementos of my passions at that time that may or may not ever be discovered by future generations. And I was one of the original geocacher's starting about 14-15 years ago. Those grocaches I left with gifts and log books will be enjoyed by many other folks from many countries for a long time.
Since vaping will probably be my last passion in life, I have thought that it would be fitting to leave some of the best of my vaping gear behind in my last secret time capsule, and maybe some in geocache's where anyone who finds a cache can take one in trade for leaving something else behind in its place. My hiking days on broken ground are long gone, but I know someone I can enlist that will place them for me anywhere I want them.
In the picture somewhere in this general area is a secret capsule I buried over 47 years ago (yes I know exactly where, no I'm not going to say

). With the destruction after the base closed no idea if its still there though. Other markers are where I lived the first couple of months before moving off base, and the hanger where I worked. Anyway, the treasures within were both current and antique from several hobbies, many associated with the SFBA, Navy and time, some of the items around 50-100 years old then. Have fun if you go for it... take a metal detector.
