Panzer Clone Issue

I got a Panzer clone off of ebay. I am not sure who made it as it did not come in a box; just bubble wrapped. I assume it was one of the cheaper clone companies. The issue I am having is with some atty's making contact. My Russian 91% and Oragin clone have no issues. However my Omega Clone will not make contact. I can't figure out if the pin in the Panzer is adjustable. Is it just not going to work with some atty's? The two it works with seem to be a tight fit when I get to the last 1/32 of an inch before the top cap and the Omega screws all the way down without issue.

How? Mine won't budge. I'm having the same problem. It was fine until I put my Prometheus, and now none of my rda's will make contact. The screw that makes contact with the battery Is adjustable but the inside where the atomizer screws in is to far down to make contact.

Any ideas?

Can you take a picture of the one you have? If it's from Tobecco, remove the top cap and you should see an adjustable center pin and once it's removed, another piece of silver plated brass (?) which is what you adjust to flush fit the atomizer. Both of mine were in there pretty snug from the factory, so I took a pair of rubber-tipped needle nose pliers to them both and they came undone rather quickly.

The biggest issue is that with the Tobecco clone, I've had to adjust the center pin (not the one that makes connection with the atty) out so far, it's to the point of falling out. As in hanging on one thread when in 18650 mode. That's the part that sucks about it. If you screw it in too gently, the center pin tend to re-thread itself and you lose connection.

When it's working though, it works wonderfully, though I have to go through the same song and dance whenever I change out the battery.

I see.. I got it from FT, there is a brass inner part but nothing really to grab into. I'll upload a pic when my phone is charged.

I have the copper Panzer from Fast tech. Just pop the pin out. Then lightly file some delrin. That will make the pin float.

Someone is another thread suggested that I use a small punch and tap it back into place, does that work for you as well?

Yes the delrin on the top. It needs to be loosened some. I can pull my pin out, but doesn't fall out.

Oh by the way, what do you use to clean your brass mod? I have one I'm about to give to a friend but need to get it shined up first.

I'm having the same issue and I suspect we have the same clone after your description. It is a wonderful heavy clone, made in the u.s., but suddenly that center pin won't make contact to several of my attys. Can you tell me exactly how you got it out and what you did? I'd appreciate it.

take the top cap and a small tube section off and screw them together

take a cloth and law it over top.

take an allen key of something like it and use a hammer and hit the allen key until the center pin and derlin out of the top cap

then sand of file the derlin until it slides in the top cap.

the black plastic thing that goes around the center pin. (its non-conductive and separates the positive and negative parts of the device)

On a more positive note I was able to push the pin with a slight pop up just enough to make things work again

Sorry for the noob question, but still a bit confused. Should the pin be able to move freely in the derlin, or should the derlin be able to move freely in the top cap? My derlin will slide out on it's own in three seconds or so if there is no battery supporting it.
