I just received my silver panzer pin upgrade. 2 pieces, 1 piece each for each end of the battery.

Now here's why I am posting, isnt it pointless without a third piece in kit, the 510 connection?
Isn't the upgrade pointless if I still have brass (floating 510 pin end) between the pin and tank?

Button>silver>batt>silver>brass>tank. ??

Did I get shorted a piece?

Nobody? Silver pin upgrade...but with brass before the tank is still an upgrade?

Goes like this of course:
Button....Silver......Battery......Silver......Brass 510 floating pin........RDA.

Seems like the silver pin upgrade would be pointless since the mechs top end 510 connect is still brass, Am i wrong here??

imo :

The silver is more to protect from tarnishing at battery contacts and keep the thing going strong after some use than pure conductivity gain.

I don't think it would really change anything to have a silver 510 connection, think about it: even then, the electrons would still have to migrate from the negative side of the battery to the positive side through the tubes, which are ss and are probably where the voltage drop occurs anyway (threads, etc.)

That's why i'm thinking it's more about keeping the contacts from arcing and maybe surface adherence (silver is soft) than anything. Clean contacts with the battery definitely means better conductivity.

But I could be wrong.

Thinking about getting a Panzer myself, are you happy with it ? Mainly, is the button smooth ?

From what I was told from someone on here they did this for a reason. They made it brass cause of its durability, they tried making the silver 510 piece but they kept mushrooming or something cause of it being soft. I was also told that they are actually making them now. Trust me I thought the same thing as you, I personally think the copper when polished hits better, for me ar least. I feel like the silver is pointless with that brass 510 in the way. Here are some pics for you off there facebook page.

Ditto on the Panzer. How many magnets? I used 2 and 2. SuperMagnetMan sold out of the R1004s too. I bet him and Essential Depot (PG and VG supplier) and others are loving this e-cig movement.
