Still a work in progress.... Needs to be sanded, sealed and a door made for it but I got it fired up today. I was going for the smallest form factor that could house these big ole batteries and still get solid functioning mechanics. It is a solid one piece block of mahogany machined out for a parallel 26650 mechanical box mod. I made use of a spare nemesis button and top cap, all internal connections are brass plates and screws. I still may tweak a couple things before calling it done but it sure puts out the juice. 2 X MNKE 3500 mah= 7000 mah should last me a while before charging.

I like it. It looks like if you sand the edges a bit to round them off it would be plenty comfortable to hold.
I have pretty large hands myself, so I'm planning to do something similar myself for times I'm away from the house for the weekend and such.
I'm leaning more towards stacking up 10 or 12 of the 20c 1000 mAh LiPo cells. Should come in around the 2 1/2" / 4" / 1 1/2" range. Thicker than many people would find comfortable but just fine for me.

It is pretty heafty. Size wise I tried to keep it as small a I could but it is two big batteries which result in a big mod. But I knew it would be big going into this build. I was just having fun working out the connections and fitting it all together. I think I will dub it the "Camper". Should last a good weekend in the woods.
I love the look. It's big of course, but the choice of wood and finish is simple and classy. Perfect amount of rounding off of the edges for a nice finished look.
Whoa, nice woodburning there. I second the opinion that the rounding of the corners gave this stump a slimming look. And it does look rather Pacific Northwesterly too.

Thanks asdaq. There are a few stumps here in the PNW. I've followed your many builds here on the forum. Means a lot coming from a vetran PV master such as yourself. I had fun building and figuing out how to fit it all together.
