Home is my favorite place to be but a break from the kids and my life would be nice every once in awhile

I remember those days. Our youngest is 11 now and asks almost every weekend to go to his grandparents so it is quiet here on most weekends. The 16 year old is always gone to a friends on the weekend and the 13 year old it at her mother's every other weekend. We went from 7 kids all the time to a quiet house it is strange but nice. You will be there one day to and will miss the noise from time to time but not to much lol.

How's your doggy Mary?

She is doing better now thank goodness. She started bleeding from her incision today and I had to run her back to the vet. He said she had a hematoma and said she had probably licked it and got it bleeding and then he ordered a cone to be put on her head. She is so clumsy already that she was bumping into everything it was horrible. I finally decided to wrap her belly so she couldn't lick it and took the cone off. She is now snoozing away .
