OK
I admit it
I LOVE High Voltage Torch mods !!!
After enjoying my first torch mod so much, I decided to go all out on this one. This torch is made from a Special Edition Solarforce L2 Flashlight Host made of Stainless Steel purchased from lighthound.com. I used a 510 atty connector that is sweated in the light housing of the torch. I actually had to laugh out loud using a torch to make a torch. The rubber clicky switch on the bottom was not going to work out for this mod. First you had to push past the click to activate and it would stay in the on position until you clicked it again to turn it off. So, after a little surgery with the exacto knife it was a momentary switch. The only problem now is that it was so stiff that you needed 3 thumbs to push it on. After much trial and error with the original switch, I decided to use a micro push switch from MadVapes and make a nice little switch cap and whola !!! Is it heavy you ask Oh Yeah !!! Not a mod that you would want to carry walking around the zoo all day. I actually like the hefty feel to it and will be using it exclusively the next week or so to get used to it. Not the cheapest mod to make, but if your in to the torches this one is TOP SHELF BABY !!! :bouncy smiley:
As always, heres some eye candy
and one last "Bling - Bling" shot for good measure...
Cheer's for now...
