Got my vape mail... woo hoo... :)

The Evic VTC Mini so far is excellent... Very easy to read the settings, I really like the battery cover vs the screw cap my iPV Mini 2 has. The adjusting is easy as you could ask for with a very minor exception when making adjustments in the menu mode, there are only up key adjustments and you must round robin if you go past the setting you want... the down key changes which option you are setting. That isn't much of an issue since the scrolling speeds up nicely, so going from say 1w to 75w doesn't take long.

The Theorem is also working as nicely as the mod is... The air flow setting is a little fiddly since you can't see where it is unless you completely unscrew the top cap that holds it in place. I've currently got it set for the top air flow only and just under a 1/2 open which I may close a little more later but I'll vape it this way for now, but I think I want a little tighter on the draw. The drip tip is a little short for my liking, so that will change after I get back home from work. I love the size, although it will likely need filled more often, it's a worthwhile trade-off. I'll also need to start using my needletip bottles or the ones with a dripper in them. I'm currently using the glass tank... I'll try the SS sleeved one later but I'm uncertain if the slots in it will be large enough to easily see the e-juice levels.

On my Subtanks, I've been running in the 22-26w range... on the Theorem I've got it set to 35w for now and running it at 400° in SS316 mode using the notch coil. The flavor is great, but so is the Subtank for that matter. I really like that the Theorem is much less likely to leak although the condensation may cause a dribble or two.

What is a 510 tap?
5-10?
Is it like a 1/4-20 or 8-32?
I can't seem to find one.

The tap size used for most mod's these days... I believe it's a metric sized one, if so I think that'd make it a 5mm x 10 thread... I need to stress that this is an "I think" thing since I'm not certain.

I was thinking it was a metric sized one but not sure.

The Evic VTC Mini display v3 ... absolutely love it. :)

Finally did a side by side comparison with the Subtank... first set the iPV Mini up for 35w so it was outputting the same power as I had the Evic set to... the Theorem has a much richer flavor and with the TC, will likely never burn the e-juice as the Subtank without TC would so eventually at 35w... so a big win there.

I'll need to buy a bunch of these notch coils and stock up on them. I'll get some SS wire also since the availability of the coils may be restricted later... I'm just uncertain what gauge SS I'll prefer in the long run.

    Hope this helps

510 Tap: Used for making your own battery threads for connecting an atomizer.

    7mm x .5 High Speed Steel Plug Tap - Amazon.com

510 Bottoming Tap: used for thread finishing to the bottom of a blind hole like on the510 battery threads.
    7 mm x .5 High Speed Steel Bottoming Tap - Amazon.com

510 Die: Used for threading a round bar to use in pulling battery connectors or making atomizer threads.

I have a note that is a copy off a thread from a different forum... They may or may not be avail at any given time, but it should give you a good start to find what you need

I think I may have underestimated the capacity of the Theorem... or it's just going through juice quicker due to the higher power and lower ohms of the coil... either way, looks like I'll get about 1/3rd of the time as the Subtank before needing to refill. This isn't unexpected, just didn't guess it right ...

Batteries were certainly expected to drain quicker under the higher load they are carrying. In the 4 hrs I've used up 1/2 the battery already. So I'll need to start carrying a second battery again ( or two if going out for more than 8hrs )

I could easily compensate for that... go back to kanthal and drop the power level ... but the TC has been worth the extra juice and battery... so that won't happen unless I just need to use the kanthal to make a coil with for some reason.
