They had a tax credit you could get to help offset the cost but I think it's over now,but the good news is more and more are buying it so the cost now is about 1/2 what it was 10 years ago 5 more years who knows

yeah, there's a couple retired from california living down the road on my way to town I pass there place. They put in a new double wide home and had a large front porch built, the full length of the home and about 12-15 foot wide. They did a nice job on the porch and had solar people come in and install panels on the whole roof of the porch. Their home mostly faces south and I can bet the power company is buying back electric from them for months now. It was the perfect solar place the way it sits.

My truck,it has two so once or twice a year i take them out clean,fill and charge them then check them and put them back on opposite sides so they wear out more evenly

havnt seen them but i seen this, and your post made me start watching it now, was gonna do it little later but figured i'd do it now

I have two good ones as well, plus a few cheapies that came with devices or prize packages that i never used partly out of fear partly because i didnt need too
