A photo would be good.
This is how it looks.

I've never seen that before. Sorta looks like a drawn face with two eyes when you turn the direction. And a beard.

No, I wouldn't trust that at all. Probably heat related. At best I'd rewrap it. Or toss it. Was that bay on your charger hotter than the others? Maybe get ready to rewrap and look at the metal there for heat marks? Just have another wrap around as even if you toss it you should protect it before tossing in the Home Depot battery recycling bin.

Yes I guess I'm forced to toss them. Sucks that I have to buy 2 more batteries but safety comes first.

Condensation and/or juice between the wrapper and the battery casing, used to see this with VTC4's all the time when running low ohm high cloud builds. Just get yourself some new battery wraps from like illumn.com or other battery vendor, after that all you need is a hair dryer. Remove the old wrap, make sure the top insulator ring isn't damaged, put the new wrap on leaving 1/4 to 1/8 inch at each end, place the insulator back in place, and use the hair dryer to shrink the wrap snug on the battery and fold tight at each end of the battery.

Don't worry, that black is simply the black plastic shell of the battery. The green wrapper is the heat shrink material. If you chain vape or allow your atty to get nice and warm, the heat will travel down your mod and cause the green wrapper to get tighter around the black shell, and that's why you are seeing the black. Nothing is wrong, just a natural effect of heat on the shrink wrapping material.

What do you think about that and possibly using them?

Is there anything wrong with using them therapy they are?

I just remember reading about the issue.
I have a couple AWs that showed some spotting.
I took the wrapper off, and they looked fine.
    Re-wrapped and still using them.

Disclaimer: I don't know what causes it. Maybe @Mooch has seen this.

So rerapping is fine, as long as you are getting them rerapped and not buying them that way I am assuming.

No they weren't like that when I bought them, just noticed it after a few months.
If the battery casing looks fine under the wrap, they should be good.
Hopefully Mooch will see the thread, and have more info.

I thought the Casing of a Battery was made from Metal?

I know my Samsungs are metal. Never heard of a black metal battery case/negative pole.

But if there are other reports of issues like this, then maybe a rewrap is enough. It just seems awfully odd. And if juice is tracking down enough to under the battery wrap, there's something really wrong in my book to cause that.
