Parts......and where to get them

I know what I need to know is all in one of these threads....but ok...I'm lazy and don't have time to go through everything.
So I'm interested in building a mod,
I was a professional wench for ten years so I have technical experiance. Built my own tattoo machines ( yeah I sling a little ink) modified guitars, amps etc. (Yeah a musician too)
So with that being said I don't need the cautionary advice I know you will give although I will take any and all advice. So I'm not doing anything outrageous just would like to build a straight mechanical mod for 18000 series batteries.
So where oh where do you find raw supplies like 510 connectors. Good switches and derlin washers or insulating materials, small round brass stock etc. You modders know what I need and what I'm looking for already without me trying to explain it.
All suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the tips...but looks like it might get cheaper in the long run to get a couple cheap mods and butcher for parts...

Auto-correct may be a major pain but it is also soooo fun at times.

I have found Digikey.com to be an excellent source.
