Parts compatibility

So I just got a v3 a few days ago from fasttech, and already dropped and broke it. The piece that screws onto the bottom to hold the batteries in broke. I found what looks like a good replacement here:

Replacement cap for the Gun Metal Vamo APV - redesigned for proper fit in short mode. Includes new gold spring.

It's probably a v1 or 2 part. Does anyone know if it'll fit a v3?

I have seen the v3 and v3 mixed together so I think that would be a yes.but I can't tell you for 100% certainty.

Well it's only $3.49 and I needed to order a few more carto tanks anyways. Worth a shot I guess. Thanks!
