Maybe it's the nomenclatures of things here that are different but I just ran across this comment in another New Member Forum post:
"A passthrough (no inline battery) will always provide higher voltage, at or near 5 volts depending on the source of the power."
I wondered about that as I have only 2 delivery systems. The eGo-T 650 mAh with the clear tanks and the stupid "plug in and wait till it's charged" charger (may actually be a real eGo-T), and another kit of dual 1100 mAh eGo-type batteries with the USB charging port (What they call over here as PT) on the base allowing you to have your tank screwed in and vaping while charging.
So, is a pass-through only a device where you bypass an inline battery? I'm just curious because I measured the voltage of the eGo-T 650 battery and it was, as expected 3.42V. The 1100 mAH battery (eGo style, only larger from China), however, measured 4.095V and 4.1V while plugged into the charger. There appears to be no possibility of removing the battery/ies from this device so is this still considered a passthrough device if I can plug it in and still vape even though there's an inline battery?
