yes you can use a pt...just make sure your keep your carto saturated with juice... the higher voltage (bloog MF batts are regulated 3.6 volts...PT's are 5+ ....can dry out the carto fast and can cause a burnt taste.)

Also the only PT i know of that can be used on a wall outlet is the Bloog TRIFECTA!!! its a manual/auto PT and can also be used as a regular batt)

So my Bloog wall adapter is safe to use on the pt?
Sorry when we get in to volts and DC and so on it all sounds like the teachers voice from the peanuts.

We do not warranty or advise the use of non Bloog accessories on Bloog products even if they are compatible... that being said there are many accessories that are compatible...some will work perfectly some will not... As far as the trifecta I just mentioned that because you can use it while its plugged into a wall outlet (only pt that does that)....

I am sure others on this forum can advise you better on compatible accessories.

Was it something I said?
wait, you can't plug the bloog passthrough into the bloog usb wall plug? Or do you mean you can't just plug it directly into a wall socket without an a/c / usb charger? I would have thought that a PT cant tell the difference between a usb port on a computer and the usb port on an ac charger, or even the usb port on a car charger, assuming the amperage is sufficient.

On the amperage note, here is something leaford posted in one of my threads on fusion/maxfusion accessories:
And the Fusion car adapter is only 500mA output, enough to power a charger, but not enough to power a passthrough reliably. THe MaxxFusion car adpater is set at 1500mA output which should power PTs.
So yeah, the PT needs USB's standard 5V AND proper amperage.

correct when a usb adapter is plugged into a wall outlet.... there is not enough watts to power a regular PT. (the trifecta is currently the only PT that can function like this)

Most generic usb car charger adapters (including our regular Fusion) do not have the watts to power a regular PT either. Our new Maxx Fusion usb car adapter now does and can power a regular PT perfectly!!

Yes, but there's no way for Bloog to guarantee 3rd party USB power supplies work adequately (provide correct voltage, power and DC rectification).
They can only guarantee that for their products.
This is normal.
