Last night was the first time I went to a bar since I started vaping. Matter of fact the last time I was at a bar was when I had my last coffin nail. When the idea of a cigarette started sounding like a good idea I switched to the tank I had 555 in and was good. I was able to turn down every cigarette offered to me. I gotta admit it felt good waking up this morning and not feeling like crap.
Another cool thing was seeing someone besides me and the husband vaping.

Isn't that awesome??? This was always the biggest hurdle for me when I tried to quit analogs (before discovering ecigs, of course). I've known a couple people who vape one flavour as their regular/all-day, and have another flavour that compliments their usual drink of choice, for use at the bar. It's great getting through a night out the first time...the first time I did it, it felt like *such* an accomplishment.

See, that's a really cool thing when you can drink and vape at the same time. I enjoy my libations, and my biggest fear was, "Would these hold up on a drinking night?" Not only did they hold up, I had nearly every single person at the bar lined up to hit my vape.

Hearing them cough... was... amusing...

Smokers. Heh. ;-)

Hooray! I was so happy when vaping passed the 'drunk test', too - I would go thru 2 packs during a night of heavy drinking like nothing (normally smoked a half pack a day), but would feel gross for days after that. Now I just use a higher nic juice when I know I'm going to get ****faced, and enjoy the fact that I don't have to go outside to get my fix. Isn't it a wonderful feeling?!

Thanks everyone. It was the best feeling. In Oklahoma you can smoke in bars so that made it a bit harder, but the feeling of accomplishment greater. Part of it was me being stubborn. A friend was there who earlier in the day I had met at the B&M to help with gear and juice. She showed up with a pack of cigarettes because she "didn't want to have to keep track" of her eGo. I was determined to show her it wasn't that hard. Especially cause I had 4 of them with me since I switch flavors a lot
