Passthrough question

Are the passthroughs more powerful than the regular Maxx Fusion batteries?

The reason I ask is because I used mine for the first time tonight (I had tested it before but only a little) and the carto smells burnt now. Not the same smell I got from the blank cartos. This is a definite burned smell.

Did I do something wrong? I'm pretty sure I didn't vape it longer than I normally do any other carto. I'm careful not to let them get too dry.

The PT is more powerful, 5v. PTs are one of those love 'em or hate 'em things. Some people, like you, think it's too much, and burns liquid, others love the extra power and vapor.

I really did enjoy the extra power and flavor. I just don't want to burn out cartos. Any pointers on how to not do that?

i would say take slower longer lighter drags...as opposed to quick strong powerful drags......till you can see whats right to not get a brunt taste...... and if you drip ...drip less juice more often to make sure the juice is right by the atomizer...

I experienced the same thing and was a little put off by it. Oddly enough the V4L Peppermint Carts I got didn't experience the same burnt taste. Unfortunately, only about half of those carts out of 10 worked at all.

I did come up with a solution though I am not sure if it is ideal. If I screw the cart all the way on then unscrew it just a bit (varies mildly by cart) then I can vape to my heart's content without getting that burnt taste. So, while driving I save my batteries and I get good clouds of vapor and good taste.

Not sure if this has any negative effect on the longevity of the pass-thru or the carts, however. Hope this helps you.
