Kgone,

Here is My Personal Opinion:

Sorry I Don't See Much Of Any Issue.

- Except I thought I saw U Using a USB Extension Cable (don't use an extension) and Using The Battery Space Battery Portable USB AA Pack (the types of batteries in it make a big difference as well as each one has a chip to regulate the output (get a real battery pack, I am not going discuss this one. I have a few of those and I Believe that they don't not work Well for This Use, although they work well for other applications).

Please Keep In Mind:

- Every Battery & Every USB Pass Through Units Have Sensors To Determine the Atomizers Status, Almost a Protection Circuit To Protect the Atomizer from Over Heating.

- Every Sensor (pretty much all the same cheap sensors, but some mechanical, some mic & other types) from battery to battery to USB Pass through are Not The Same Sensitivity (word used for simplicity) and Will Vary, Thats Just How It Is. Meaning They Won't All Produce The Same results!

- You were getting vape, your just not happy with the amount, I don't see any parts defect here.

- Vape from Every battery, Every Atomizer, Every USB Pass Through Will Be Different, Including the Same Model & Same Brand!

- You may never be happy, all this E-Cig Stuff is just built crappy, different from model to model and even the same models are different, It just works that way.

- I Have Spent Thousands $$$$ on This Crap! But I Do Have E-Cigs That Work good Enough For Me! And The Spending never Stops! But I Did Quit My 3 pack a day 25 year habit!

- Also how much juice is in the cart, if the cart is too wet / dry (all are different) Will Effect the Amount of Vape. Sensor picks up the extra resistance to heat it up and shuts down when too hot.

- I don't recommend switching the same atomizer from A Battery to USB pass through unit, the heights of the center posts are different and can cause less contact or no contact.

- You should always designate an atomizer for the battery and one for use with the USB pass through unit only.

- I would not use the Standard Computer USB Port, Use A Powered USB Port Without Any Extensions On It.

- Purchase : A AC to USB Powered Adapter (5 Volts & Output of 1 Amp), You should see a difference. (I don't know if you said u have a powered USB Hub, But If Not Get One and Do Not Use Extension Cables On It)

- U May Want To See Back & Watch Your Video...

This Is my Personal Opinion, Others Will Say Different, so its not up for debate,

Hope That Helps.

Keep Vapin!

To be fair, isn't my usb powered battery back considered a self powered usb hub in a huge essence?

Please Read Again:

It Does Not Work Well With (5) Of My USB Pass-Through Units.

Further It Depends On What Batteries You Are Using In It.

I Don't Believe It Is Designed For Fast & High Output or Can Handle the 1 Amp Load of the E-Cig (there are exceptions).

Your Beating A Dead Horse!

K, I don't mean to sound like a **** but since it's designed for computers and it isn't giving me the hit I need I'll just return it. I find it absurd. However I did create a new thread about me having usb based hub that can be dc powered located
