I've been a loyal customer of Alien Visions for the past 9 months. I've been trying to order since Sunday and I keep getting "payment processing down" once I add everything to my cart and click to continue. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? If it is a way that you guys are limiting orders, it would be nice to see it on the front page of the site. It takes me 10 minutes and then I get to the end and get blocked from ordering -- frustrating for sure.

Thanks in advance. I hope its something I am doing incorrectly.

same thing here , wish you/me were doing it wrong too.Think they have a small glitz in the system is all, suspect it will be fixed soon.

Ps- save to your basket so when its fixed you do not have to do it all over again.

ps2- after reading here a touch it looks like they are just catching up on stuff, good luck.

Been getting the same thing here too, trying twice a day since last weekend. I've heard they are open for a few hours a day, Ben if this is true can you let us know the hours? I'm running low and have 0 backup juices due to being broke and sucking at life. Please don't make me order some inferior juice! Thanks

Thanks for the responses. I can appreciate them catching up, but it's really annoying to me that they do not state up front that the site isn't accpeting orders. It should show on the home page or something -- ordering closed for the day, try again tomorrow. I will try to set my alarm to get up and order at 1AM. Don't get me wrong, I love the juices and will continue to order avejuice regardless, but it would save me some time to just know what is going on instead of thinking something is wrong with the website or that I am doing something incorrectly when trying to place an order.

I would love to do this but my technical ability when it comes to creating website wide splash screens is limited (hence why we didn't "black out" the site in protest of the SOPA and PIPA bills.) I am taking steps to make it more manageable. I do know how to change the message displayed, it is a matter of finding the actual message and changing it, but like the Higgs boson it's only a matter of time, the areas available for it to hide are diminishing.

Beyond this we are looking into a complete website redesign, this too however, will take time. Website developers have a track record (albeit diminishing) for under estimating the completion time of a project so we are being a bit stubborn with everyone we look to for the project. I don't want to give money to a group that doesn't know their ability or that cannot finish close to their estimate.

However, I'm good at "solution based" thinking and now that you have me focused on this I'm pretty sure I'll badger a workable solution that will give customer a heads-up before they put in the elbow work of creating an order.

It should show on the home page or something -- ordering closed for the day, try again tomorrow.
