But you can still take a paypal debit card right? It's just a mastercard that takes it's balance from your paypal account instead of your bank account.

For some people out there that prefer to use paypal but are having problems I would suggest getting a paypal debit card. I have had one for years now and it's been accepted everywhere that any mastercard is. And you don't have to wait for funds to transfer.

I'm sure that I can't be the only e-bay seller or am I??

Sure paypal debit card should work fine..

They keep the money for now I guess.. There's a resolution process to go through..

As part of the discover network we are required to take JCB and Diner's club although we've never recieved either as a payment yet...

I have sold thousands of items on e-bay 90% guitars and I am a top rated seller. PayPal can really be annoying much more so for the seller than the buyer. I have been forced to refund money on many items that I know were damaged weeks after delivery. UPS will not pay the claims and I have to choice but to give the money back or have paypal jack up your account. If I could do business without them I would be glad to. However, even though I have looked at many alternatives it just isn't possible at this point in time.

Good luck and try not to sweat it. In the end you will all be better off without them. They are always raising their fees and the seller really doesn't get much from them anyway.

I agree. It was nice to have as an alternate to straight CC processing but our cc processor works great and only charges half as much per transaction :)
