O.K, I arrived home from work ( 12hr day shift) to find yet another limited addition black envelope waiting for me in the box. My Turtle Ship / Stillare had been freshly re-wicked ( built with 24g duals to 0.4 ohms along with CC wick) I gave it a good shake and loaded it up. Didn't wait very long and took the first pull. My first thought was, Uh Oh! Me thinks that Clark should of left the recipe alone. In fact at this point I can honestly say that I was rather disappointed.
Keeping in mind that I left the house this morning with Reo #1/ Cyclone AFC loaded with the Virus / Frenilla blend and my Provari extended mini with KFL+ loaded with the original PBC, I thought to myself that maybe it was time for a pallet cleanse and headed to the kitchen for a glass of Bragg ACV in distilled water with organic honey.
I then returned to the man cave and promptly gave it a second pull. This time it was Hmm, this stuff tastes like Home Slice without the jelly but, I noticed that it had a sweeter finish. I can say that although it tasted better, for me it was possibly a miss. Not being one to give up all that quickly, I soldiered on trying to figure this one out. I put it down to gather my thoughts and took a couple of pulls on the leftover CCM from the night before that I was vaping in my trusty old Nemmy / TOBH.
I then took the third pull and all of a sudden it was like " Hey, wait a minute!, was that creamy Skippy Peanut Butter I just tasted?" "My God, I think it was!" I then said to myself, " Self, maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge!" At this time my lovely wife was calling me to the dinner table and not being one to miss a meal, off I went.
After dinner I returned to the scene of the crime and loaded up once again. This time to my surprise, there it was in all its glory, the fresh creamy Skippy peanut butter with a pleasantly sweet cookie finish!
Now, while I can't say that this is like PBC V1 with that salty sweet where the cookie meets the pan freshly roasted peanut flavor. I can say that this is ( as it turns out) a very fine vape indeed! I think that I possibly was expecting this to be a more intense V1 and that this was maybe a bit unrealistic. I now think that the more time I spend with this, the more I will fall in love with it! In fact, I think I may be falling for it already. My plan is to hit this good and hard for the next few days and maybe at some point mixing a little V1 with a little V2 just to check it out .
I think the next step is to re-wick Hanna with her Magma and play around with the wattage in search of the perfect build for PBC V2.
So, in conclusion, I must give the juice man yet another two thumbs up overall! I was a little worried at first but, as we all know, things can rapidly change!
