Thanks vaperX, I hadn't run across any reported problems and appreciate you posting yours. ECR requires an account and I didn't have one and wasn't going to create one just to take a peak.
I looked around last night and could find a few reports just like yours. One person took theirs apart and said it was a faulty ground, crappy solder joint, so much for a good QC program. Did you figure out the cause on yours?
Glad your vendor took care of you and replaced it, sounds like you received a real lemon. So far I've put a tank through mine and no problems. We'll see how it goes once I really start to play with different builds.
