Just got my PCC in today for the 510 (Thank you Rocky Mountain for your lightning fast shipping!)

I charged it up and just to see how the lights work I dropped a charged batt in there. The light came on for a short time and went out as expected. But then I noticed the it would come on for 5 seconds or less every 15 seconds or so. I take it that that is the circuitry checking the batt charge. Will any harm come to the batt from leaving it in there?

No, I don't think there is a problem with the unit. In fact, I am sure that the light coming on every so often is the system checking the battery charge. Just like the wall charger flicking red every so often once the battery is charged (Or green as it is charging). My question is "is it damaging to leave a battery in the PCC for a long period once it is charged". Is there a discharge risk or over charge?
