Whats the deal with the lights on the PCC case? When i plug in the King to charge it does the flashing and then the solid red light goes on. But after a few minutes the little red light flashes a bit then goes solid then flashes ect... Will the light go green once the King is fully charged? Or is the blinking light a sign i need to recharge the case? I know its a dumb question but I just want to know a real answer and not just what I am guessing. Also about the regular wall charfger. Is it bad to keep the battery in there after the light is green. Go to bed and wake up and take it out?
here's how the lights appear to work from excessive use of my pcc:
screw in dead batt:
red light comes on, batt blinks.
red light goes off for a few seconds
red light comes on (charging)
red light goes off and "pips"...blinks so briefly its easy to miss...
at this point battery is charged
red light comes on after a while (it tries to charge again, uses this cycle to determine if battery is charged)
red light goes off and pips again.
put in battery on pcc thats low/needs charge
same as above but red light never goes off...reason? its still trying to charge but after like the 5th battery, it doesnt have enough left for the job.
As steve says, Time is the key, when in doubt. leave it longer. and remember..recharge when you note a reduction in vapor, dont wait for the flashy battery light, cause by then its a little too weak to enjoy. Lithium Ion
batteries like to see a charger at about 40% but the blinkin light is set to trigger closer to 20%..not quite enough for a nice blast of vapor.
Nothing beats a fresh battery! (except my pass
through! hah!)
The blinking VK battery is a diagnostic tool...when super low it blinks @ you..so you know something else isnt wrong LOL. When vapor production falls off notably, first suspect is always a battery that needs charging, and second is always a low cartomizer.
