Peanut Butter won't pop?

Hi! I made a mix like this using VapingZone flavors:

95 drop Peanut Butter
55 drop Maple
into 2 ounces (60ml) of MAX VG 9mg/ml nic base.
Shake well, steep with cap off, shake some more, etc.

I can't taste the peanut butter or the maple. I mixed this last Sunday.

I can barely perceive the PB after I exhale, but it is a residual and very faint. What I taste when vaping is "meh". Not unpleasant, but not PB and Maple.

What gives? I've got a few successful DIY recipes under my belt now.

PS Please don't fuss about measuring in drops. It's all I can do right now.

Assuming you get about 20 drops to a ml, that's around 12% flavor. You should be tasting SOMETHING. I've never used those flavors or that company's flavors, so I don't know about their potency. I make mostly max VG stuff and I usually use 20% as a benchmark for flavoring. (Mostly use TFA, but I'm still a noob at DIY and am looking into other flavor companies.) I would say add some more flavor though.

I will say that I have never tried a "peanut butter" flavored juice that tasted much like peanut butter. I found one once that kinda tasted like a Nutter Butter cookie, but that was the closest I found.

I'm not too picky about accuracy of the flavor. Nutter Butter would be fine, if I could just get a nice clear-and-present taste out of it.

So you recommend adding more? Not a problem. Thanks!

But is it an adjunct problem? Lack of sweetener? Anybody else?

For 30ml bottles -1 ml.=20 Drops?
1% = 6 drops 5% = 30 drops 10% = 60 drops 20% = 120 drops

You might want to take 2ml of your batch and add 1% PB (12 drops appr.?) at a time. vape and readjust.

Never tried VapingZone's peanut butter, but TFA's is really good imo.

I'm dropping from the 10ml bottles the VZ flavors come in. They have the needle tip or really, really, pointy tips on them.

I've measured out drops a few times for kicks while mixing, and honestly, I get about 40-50 drops per ml. The skinnier the tip, the more drops/ml. Food for thought.

That's what I thought. There are LOTS of different bottle makers, but those slender tips are all roughly the same. I get about 20 drops out of one to make a ml. But it can vary by who made the bottle and how hard you squeeze when you are dropping.

You should really grab a couple of cheap plastic graduated cylinders. they are a buck or 2 a piece and will save you a lot of hassle.

OK, I'm back. Definitely more PB taste with the 5ml and 12 drops added (to already existing juice).

So, help me do math. I'm a musician.

How many drops do I need to fill out the almost 2oz bottle?

PS What about the Maple? In a ready-made juice, the PB and Maple would be BAM!

Take a good wiff of it first. If you don't smell much then you might need more flavor. If you can smell something but tastes weak, you might have over flavored it.

Also, my notes on Hangsen PB say that it needs at least a short steep time. I don't know about VZ though.

Most of VZ's regular flavors (not SC, not Gourmet) are TFA rebottled.
