Pecan Pie carts?

I received my order today that included a box of the pecan pie carts.

This was probably the flavor that I was most excited to try and it was a total let down. Nothing but flowers. No pecans, no pie, no cinnamon.

So a word to the wise; if you are sensitive to the floral tastes that have been popping up at random (cinnamon roll, espresso, etc.) these are not for you

On the other hand I am really liking the Turtle candy and the caramel apple is great!

There must be a certain percentage of the vaping population that expresses a gene that causes them to "taste" whatever chemical is in these flavors as "flowery" or "floral". The rest of the "normal" or "average" population without this genetic anomaly, tastes this chemical the way it's "meant" to be tasted in the flavor blend(cinnamon, molasses, nutty, whatever...).

The other explanation is that there may be a legitimate manufacture error with some of the bottles(mis-mix, mis-label, whatever).

I'm leaning towards the genetic hypothesis because I've seen this phenomenon mentioned on the forums several times with many different flavor blends(of apparently the same lot) from several different suppliers. Taste may be a truly a subjective experience.
