Penelope questions?

I submitted an 'enquiry' on the site about the penelope a couple days ago. I know that you guys are busy right now, but I'm wondering what the status on that would be, and if you'll have any left once the pre-order dealy-o is all said and done.

You might want to post your question here in the COV section or the GG section. According to Bigbuyer over in the Sticky: GG Talk!, Page 193, post #1922 "Penelope is here. Shipping Sunday, Monday, Tuesday until they are all on the way!". I doubt that Justin will get to the CS tickets for a while.

What exactly is the mouth piece? Does it accept a 510 drip tip?

Will it work well with a kicked SB?

How difficult is the coil to rebuild?

Anyone have any opinions about the Penelope?

The mouth piece is just that: a mouth piece. It is also the piece that controls your juice flow. No, a 510 drip tip won't fit on it.

Yep, it should work fine on a kicked SB or any other 510 device

Coil building has a slight learning curve, but once you've done it a few times it's really pretty easy. My first couple of Ody coils (the exact same procedure) were ugly and I was sure they wouldn't hold up, but they actually vaped just fine, so don't sweat it if your first couple are sloppy ;-)

As for opinions, I can't give you mine since I don't have it yet, but I like the idea of a slimmer version of Odysseus, as well as the few small design improvements Imeo has made

So you're stuck with whatever mouthpiece comes with it?

How does it wick? I'm assiming that the liquid is below the coil?

Actually, the coil is near the bottom of the tank. The bottom of the mouthpiece part threads on over the rebuildable section, so unscrewing it slightly lets juice reach the wick and screwing it down tight closes off the juice ingress.

I do not have any experience with the kick, so I do not know.

I've got a real nice SB and an AltSmoke Alpha, they will keep me busy for now...at least until I get the VV bug...or someone comes out with something awesome with the new Evolv circuit.

This has probably been answered, but is the ceramic inside the Penelope the same as Odysseus? For some reason I'm really paranoid about breaking the ceramic in Ody/Penelope and not being able to get another one! If they're the same, I will grab a few when COV re-stocks them. Thanks!

Edit: Nevermind, watching Navylifeguards video, it looks like they are different sizes. Proably too soon to tell, but will the Penelope replacement parts be showing up at COV at some point after they ship?

Yup, the ones on COV (though they're still out of stock) are the new ones with only one ceramic channel Just waiting to pick em' up when they show. Hope Penelope parts surface at some point in the future... would really suck to break the only one I have Though I haven't broken anything yet... *knocks on wood*
