PA Senator Tim Solobay (Washington County) is urging all Pennsylvanians to contact their local state senators to get Senate Bill 1055 moving to prohibit the sales of e-cigarettes and accessories to minors under the age of 18.
He recognizes that e-cigs are a useful tool FOR ADULTS...
He introduced the bill earlier in the year, but no action has apparently been taken as of this time.

Most Pennsylvanians dont realize that the laws that apply to the sale of traditional cigarettes do not apply to electronic cigarettes. My legislation would fix that. [/FONT]

While the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is still considering regulations on e-cigarettes, more than half of states have already outlawed sales to minors. Pennsylvania should quickly join them in order to prevent use of any nicotine products among our children.[/FONT]
