I think most people's experience with e cigs are with cigarette sized ones or egos... Compared to either of those, it is huge.
I thought they looked huge as well - judging mostly from photos & videos - having never seen one in person. Once I got mine in hand, that thought was immediately banished.
compared to egos, ciggalikes and some of the smaller shorter mods, the standard provari can look huge but then again you have the bam and the 26650 mods that are gigantic. its all in how people look at it and what they compare it too. as long as it does what its supposed to do who cares what people think.
They are huge compared to what many are accustomed to. Myself, I was using the joyetech ego-c twist prior to getting a provari.

Non vapors think my ego 650 is huge, it all in the perspective. Compare a Provari to a regular cigarette and they will seem huge.
When I see the post that mention a 1000mah twist and I see it with a larger tank on it then the Provari is too big I have to question if they have seen a Provari.
The eGo-C stuff that I got rid of was actually a larger and harder to carry than the Provari. Provari heavier, eGo-C more real estate on person required.

What I can't handle is the smok carto tanks with the flanged cartos on the Provari. It looks unbalanced on the provari. Once my husband cut them all down for standard Boges it looked right to me. I am just weird that way though. I use black tanks because it drives me crazy when my juice darkens over time lol.
The pictures on Provapes site make them look huge. I took a picture once comparing a Provari w/extension cap and an Ego Twist 1000mah. They are actually about the same length, but the Provari is wider.
Yeah, I have a bunch of vapers in my family, and most of laughed out loud when they saw my Zmax. They almost fell over when they saw the Vamo. At least when they see my Provari it will be smaller than the others.
I had a Vamo. After I broke it I pulled the plug and got a provari mini. Compared with the Vamo in the same 18350 configuration, the Provari is significantly shorter in height and just a smidgen larger in diameter.

looks bigger from below up close........I'll have to remember that. I always figured it was small hands that made it look bigger. Seriously when I unwrapped my mini I dug through the box looking for the rest of it.
I thought they were, and I owned a full size for a short while.
I thought they were heavy, too. With a SS tank on their, it was way heavier than anything I would want to spend most of my day "holding".
And I wasn't a newbie coming off cig-a-likes or 650mAh egos.
Not saying anything bad about them, they are a really nice vape with a lot of nice features.
I was a little surprised at how the paint job doesn't seem to hold up that well for a mod of it's price and made in the USA. Maybe they have fixed that, haven't seen a 2.5
I for some reason was also expecting something the size and weight as a police grade mag light when I ordered. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find it was actually shorter than my ego twist albeit thicker. It's funny because Provari provides measurements on the website but it's oddly difficult to visualize lol.
