Hmm, glad you told me, and I doubt I would have any use for that; I always try to buy my juices at 80PG/20VG, just to cut down on sweetness.

To reduce / eliminate the sweetness: "Bitter Wizard"
To improve the look and taste "MTS vape Wizzard"

fantastic ...

I thought you were new to mixing and were getting your feet under you with single flavoring mixes. You're way past that with complex blends and using flavorings I don't have experience with, so I have no idea what is happening or how to fix it.

Well I am new to it, at least as far as from-scratch. I've mixed up some from existing e-juices. The thing I can't get past is that "rotten celery" odor, from the flavoring, which I have no idea how to get rid of.

I added that other stuff to try and make that 5ml palatable, but I just can't get rid of that awful smell.

Sometimes the hardest part of learning to mix is knowing when to throw out a bad batch.

I usually set it aside in a sealed bottle away from sunlight for a few weeks to see if anything improves. If it doesn't, I toss it into my basket of bottles that need to be cleaned for reuse. It's my largest/busiest basket and I've been mixing for years.

But, then again, I work on getting the base flavor I want pretty close before I begin adding other stuff to it. The wackiest things can happen when adding other stuff to a juice, so I make sure I have the basic taste down before I start working with the wacky part.

Ok. Well I definitely set that 5ml aside. I'll put it with my others that are aging in a dark drawer. And I will go ahead and make a 10ml batch at 2%, 4 drops, with just plain PG, not wasting any nic juice, and set that aside to see if that odor goes away after a while. Somehow I'll have to tough it out till MFS restocks the good Virginia, at which time I'm buying 125ml! of it. Or more. ;)

As I said, that Hangsen's is *really* close to the MFS Virginia, so maybe in a week or so, it'll be vapable. It didn't have any bad odors or tastes, just seemed a bit... flat, I guess; none of the aromatic notes I associate with *good* Virginia. That's why I'm so disappointed with this FA Virginia, I think; it's aromatic alright, but definitely not in a good way.

Thx!

I know the celery thing your talking about. I have had the same results at 2% in MelloSunset and CamBlend. These are pretty nasty. Like Hoosier said, these flavors are very "touchy." The smallest shift can change them. They are on the "revisit" list. The MelloSunset is a little cloudy. I may have a bad flavor. None of my flavors look like it.

7 leaves ultimate and Maxx blend are pretty good at 2%

Anyone else with that's been down this road with these, please help.

Well, as I said, I'm strongly considering trying out 2 other flavors, these from Tobacco Express, Virginia, and Golden Virginia. I also saw this additive called "Smooth" by Signature, wondering if adding some of that might get rid of that nasty smell.
