I bought some concentrates from a party. Got an email they were going to be shipped today. I asked a question to them by email.. "Whats the recommended ejuice percentage % for your concentrates. They replied "we usually suggest starting at 0.1% by weight in the product."

What does that mean? I use 0.1% ? That would be a mega super flavor concentrate.. Any idea?

Wow, an e-juice flavor party? We've come a long way, I guess!

Are these liquid flavorings? Are they intended primarily for e-liquids?

0.1% by weight sounds more like a measurement for baking, so perhaps the person who answered your question didn't quite understand what you were asking about. E-liquids need a lot more flavoring than a cake or cookies do.

What vendor makes the flavors?

Flavor international, there a flavor manufacture. It's a co that makes flavors for anything (big business). They don't deal with the "vape field at all".. The only reason they are making flavors for me is I an there account mgr thats ships there "freight" for the last 5 years.. They know it's for eJuice. However, I agree I thinks its a candy % quote.. I guess I can start at 5% and see were it goes

Yeah, if they don't make flavors for e-liquids, they probably have no idea what the correct percentages are.

Do be aware, however, that some baking flavorings are not concentrated enough to work well in e-liquids (like the MacCormic and similar bottles of flavors you would find in a supermarket). Also, try to find flavors that are primarily PG-based, as opposed to alcohol-water based.

wow, no... it's 1.0% not 0.1%

if it was 0.1% in 10mls it would be 0.01ml of flavoring.

What it means by weight is, you weigh it out. it's a % of weight. I seen people using this method lately, but it makes no sense to me. The math is a bit tricky, I dont' want to get in to it but i guess I will...

Your PG/VG + Nicotine + Flavoring = 10g (grams which is mass(which most people refer to as weight))

1% , to convert it in to a number and not a percent you move the decimal over 2 places to the left. 0.01

10g - 0.01g = 9.99g

SO your PG/VG + Nicotine need to weigh 9.99g

add 0.01g of your flavoring which is 1% of 10g, so when you add it it's 10g of eliquid.
