I want to make my diy flavors more accessible. a year ago I got a sample tin from halo. inside the tin was a piece of foam with holes cut out. inside the holes was the samples. im thinking I could get a foam pad and do a variation of that. with a foam pad I could take a knife and make a X cut in the foam. each X would hold bottles of varying sizes. I use the foam from halo still. very handy for holding anything im working with including rbas bottles tanks etc.

Do you happen to remember if this is what they call the "flawless" or the "Train Case" version? I can hardly find the exact one you have anymore and when I think I do I'm not exactly sure (there are alot of different styles/versions...)

Thanks,

Norman

I've included a pic of the hinge/latch locking mechanism that's on the top.
Also noteworthy, there are 19.99, and 29.99 versions. This is the 29.99 version. The 19.99 would probably only be good for single flavor mixers, and minor needle/syringe storage, due to its general lack of dimensions.
Glad you all like the post. Always feels good to help people save money any way I can.
Also, I've tried SEVERAL (some up to 60 dollars) tackle boxes, sewing storage, craft storage, and sterilite drawers.
They work, but this feels like it's MADE for DIY'ing. Everything fits pretty much JUST right.

I have a thread going on the DIY desk I built. I had some drawings in this thread of what I was going to build, but I made some modifications to it as I was building. Just minor, something I thought would work better than what I had originally drawn. Here's the thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-my-diy-desk-almost-finished.html#post9055696 Here's the pics I posted on that thread.

My apologies for the delayed response, Norman. Mine is referred to as a "train Case" as it's a makeup case that was used on trains in the 50's and the name has stuck with them. As for the model of it, who knows. I'm not the kind of guy that stares at caboodle tags as a hobby ^_^
I wish I could be more help, but I DO know that I've searched for "large train case" on ebay, and seen several of the exact one I have (and a variant thereof that doesn't have as many compartments, so I'd assume they're NOT the same size.)

WOW! I don't think I have words adequate enough to express how amazing that is!

Very nice indeed! I am really impressed with the consolidation of all that space on to the inside of a standard closet door!

If you want to make some serious money, put some pictures and/or a display together and take pre-orders at vape shows! Or just set up a website!

I have no doubt you'd rake in the cash.

You have undeniable talent with that ultra versatile design! Share it and get rich!:toast:

Thanks for the reply. It does get confusing with all the different makes/models/sizes. Instead of trying to find something on the Internet I think this calls for me to visit some stores and actually see the items in person. That way I'll know what will fit, what I can put up with not fitting, how much I'm willing to pay, etc.

Thanks again,

Norman

Yea Glass, I just got a PM letting me know I have to register as a supplier before I can post about it. I hadn't really thought too much about selling them, but maybe the plans. My physical health keeps me from doing cabinet work of any scale now. What should have taken two days to do ended up taking two weeks. Oh well. I'll see what it takes to register as a supplier.
