I tried mixing with pa coffee extra clear lastnight. this is my result http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/187400-i-made-vapable-ipecac-syrup.html
The only coffee flavor I have tried so far was Lorann's Coffee (not keoke). No matter what concentration I try, it will not vape! I have a bottle that I mixed yesterday at 5%, and it doesn't even vape at all. Every other flavor I have tried has at least vaped, but it does not matter what I do, this coffee doesn't even vaporize. Anyone else had any issues like this with Lorann's Coffee?
I mentioned this in another thread, but I think it's odd that an influx of members have been getting cat pee taste from PA coffee flavors in the last few days. I wonder if their coffee base went bad or something.
Has anyone else had any PA coffees that arrived within the last week or so that taste like urine? And can anyone that has ordered this stuff in the past comment on whether or not it smelled or tasted like urine?

coffee extra clear needs to be used in extremely low doses. 1% is MORE then enough for mixes. I enjoy this flavor and think it tastes like strong black coffee to a T. The reason most people gave it a bad review IMO is because they mixed it at 10% which is the typical suggested starting point from most people when testing out a flavor.
Give it another try at 1%, you might change your mind.

Perfumers Apprentice said:this is a very strong flavor, do not try to evaluate just by smell!!
Just got TPA Mocha in today along with several other flavors, and immediately I recognized the scent as a cross between β-mercaptoethanol, a pungent and noxious sulfur-containing chemical I sometimes have to use at work, and skunk spray, which also contains sulfur-containing compounds. As it turns out coffee contains sulfur-containing compounds (something I did not know until I had to look it up just now), so, apparently, in order to approximate the flavor of coffee, sulfur-containing compounds (FDA approved of course) are used. Knowing what it is, however, it is most certainly something you'd want to use at an absurdly low concentration as Shantia suggested earlier. Might I suggest even lower, like 0.01% to start. I think 0.1% would be on the high end and if you really want something strong enough to ward off bears and other potential attackers, then 1%.

Amen to that!
As TPA says, don't even attempt to smell it... to evaluate it or otherwise! Whatever molecules are in it stuck to the inside of my nostrils, and I continued to smell it long after I left the room, like my nose had been sprayed by a skunk! If you ever want to enjoy a cup of coffee again, let alone a coffee-flavored vape, that is the last smell you will ever want to remember.
Great post, that was really informative.
I got an email back from TPA, and they said that out of six people testing the flavor of the current batch, only one of them got the sensation we are describing. She said that we must be sensitive to that particular note, and that urine is one of the notes in a coffee flavor.
Your explanation makes far more sense though, flaklaflubilibu. I've had good coffee flavored premixed vapes, so I know they exist... I guess I just will be going elsewhere to find a nice coffee flavor.
Thanks!
I seem to be hearing a lot of good things about Lorann's Keoke coffee flavor. I will have to give this flavor a try, which will introduce me to the world of Loranns.
Has anyone tried to create coffee flavor using the coffee infusion recipe? I'm trying it now and will know how it comes out tomorrow night.
