Recently placed an order for many flavors to mix my own VG liquids. Perfumers Apprentice delivered within 72 hours, everything correct, and all taste great that I've tried so far. I was very pleased with my items, packaging was great, and can't wait to try some more mixing up!

Overall a great transaction, and will be getting more items soon. They also charge only what is needed for shipping depending on weight of your package and that is a plus.

Totally agreed! Love the website, easy to order, just about any flavoring you can imagine, and I ordered a free sample of a "test flavor" they offered, "Toasted Almond", and it is really good, even with my limited amateur mixing skills. I will surely leave the review as they asked. But can't wait to order some more flavors. I wish I could locate more recipes, I would hate to waste any of these high-quality flavorings.

So how well are they working with VG I noticed the VG really washed out some of the stuff I mixed with it.

Are you able the get an acceptable taste with say 5% flavoring?
I was just wondering what percentages other peeps was using and how well it's working with VG.

I've been stalking the PA site a little lately myself and really like the prices and shipping prices, guess I'll have to go ahead and order some stuff.

Well, so far, I've mixed two batches of juice; one was a Red Bull Flavor, and it came through just fine at about 10%, but after sitting a couple days, it was too strong, unvapeable. Became overpowering, so I'm assuming I used too much.

I also did a mix of a sample they gave me of Toasted Almond, at 5%, and it was great. I tried adding some Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Flavoring, at 5% and it over-powered the almond. So they seem to come through great, not washed out. But my skills need practice.

I also mixed a few drops of one of the flavorings with a pre-mixed juice to change the taste, and it came through fine as well. In my opinion, so far they seem much more concentrated than Lorann's that I have tried. Not bashing Lorann's, these just seem stronger.

So your 5% sounds spot on to me.

I ordered from PA last week, and I have to say the speed of delivery, as well as the quality of product and packaging is amazing!! I have already placed my second order with them ;)

I love PA's flavorings - Just don't let them ship UPS -I ordered my last order from them on the 14th, it was shipped UPS ground on the 16th - and I just checked UPS tracking and the last tracking info was it just arrived in Hobkins IL at 5:02 on the 20th - as I live right outside Atlanta GA, I don't know when it will finally get here.:grr:

They do have great flavorings though - One Sop DIY Shop also sales PA's flavorings for the same price PA sales them in the smaller sizes and carries Loranns and some of FlavorArts flavorings also - they also have the cheapest price I have found for Nic juice - I just put in an order from them yesterday so I am not sure about there packaging and shipments.

i've tried loranns flavors and i find the PA flavors to be much better, stronger, and pretty much spot on as far as the flavor goes. i use alot of flavorings in my juices(around 30 to 40%) i haven't had any complaints with their flavors. their sweetener is a must have in my mixing box. i just placed 2 more orders with linda over at PA, i ordered one last night and one today, i gave her a call to see if she could mix the orders and she was very nice, easy to talk to, and had no problems combining my 2 orders. i have nothing but great things to say about PA flavors and service

Yes, I'm glad I didn't do the UPS thing. The packaging was great, no chance of breakage, and also explains why the cost of shipping goes up the more bottles you place in your order-not just the weight but all the packing material.

I think you have the reference to One Stop DIY Shop's prices/sizes on the PA flavorings backwards. They do sell them at similar pricing, but it's a larger size, not smaller. At least it was a couple weeks ago.

I am enjoying using these flavors to create something and got a good recipe from a search for a Pear Cinnamon juice. It needs tweaking though. And trying to make my own 'Candy Cane' flavor juice. That didn't come out too well. Yet.

Thanks for recommending PA just got my stuff today, only been tinkering with it a little so far(got about a hundred things I wanna try)

Man the tobacco absolute reminds me sooooooo much of unfiltered homegrown tobacco.

The DK Tab aint bad either kinda reminds me of captain black or black and mild.

but enough rambling still got a bunch of other flavs to mess with.

PA stuff is so affordable it's hard not to buy more than you need lol

OH YA it came with some extras, eye dropper, little pipettes or whatever they are it was a nice touch anyways adding those to make mixing easier:toast:

I got the Peppermint and Sweetner also, but my mix just didn't come out well. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Has to be too much of one or the other....but I wish I could get it right. I love the flavor of candy canes.

Why don't you post the recipe that you used and maybe we can give you some pointers?

Another thing to consider is that DIY mixes tend to "mature" in 48 to 72 hours. Don't be too freaked out if it isn't doesn't taste perfect right when you mix it.
