Wait mechanical mods are only for sub ohms & kicks? Crap I've been vaping wrong for a year and a half! :p

Good point. I should have been more clear. How do I state this?

If I DID prefer sub ohm, the mods wouldn't be much good for me. Therefore I'd likely prefer a mechanical, Kick irrelevant.

Did I mention that I prefer mods? ;-)

Better?

The difference is in the atomizer hardware and the juice. Some juices like higher temperatures and some are better with lowered temperatures. There IS a difference in the tank, carto, and other methods of atomizing juice that requires changes in temperature to operate at peak.

VW is a great advancement, but it isn't the end all for vaping satisfaction. It's like playing a CD. They are all the same physically, but vary greatly in the adjustments you make to adjust the sound to your satisfaction. Jazz and Rock require completely unrelated response curves to bring out the nuances in the music.

No matter what we use, we will be tweaking the numbers from time to time unless we vape the same juice on the same hardware and toss the atomizer when the new wears off instead of tweaking the voltage or wattage to compensate for break in. A new coil is a wonderful thing. Let it build a little crud coat and the game changes. It's not always new again after a dry burn, but it can be tweaked back to a satisfying vaping level.

Just my opinion. Neither is better. Like most life choices, it's a preference.
