As ozm8ey mentioned, do petitions actually do anything? In my country this wouldn’t work at all, so I’m curious to know if they do make a difference :)

Not much, but when a petition reaches 100K signatures, the White House has to respond to it officially. I remember getting a long and muddy reply from them to the last petition I signed. :D

    No you can't
I don't allow scripts from Twitter to run on my PC what there an actual tweet? If so could you please post the text of it or a screenshot would work too?

While I like the vaping alternative to Cigarettes, we need to make sure this alternative is SAFE for ALL! Let’s get counterfeits off the market, and keep young children from vaping!

And like most petitions it has been extremely effective.
I signed it, for all the good it will do.
"We The People" petitions were added to the White House website by the Obama administration, and given the way Trump has been trying to eliminate anything Obama did. ..

Signed it a couple of days ago. Hope it counts as I'm in 'The Great White North' ... but they responded and all seems to have gone well :2cool:

Also singed it. Being Canadian I know my voice has no real influence on American politics, but if I can sneak a signature in to help out, I will do what I can. :thumb:

    Liberals vape too.
We may have to play politics to fight being over-regulated (or regulated out of existence) but let's not play them with each other.

Oooh…. if it was an Obama thing, I hate even more that it has my name AND email address (verified, no less.) It felt uncomfortably like being moved to the front row of the classroom so the teacher could keep their eye on you!

Even MORE so now. Obama was not much of a believer in personal privacy and personal freedoms and if anyone wants to argue THAT one they can PM me. MOST of what he did was geared toward figuring out who was doing WHAT.

Much as I would like to completely agree, I have a problem with the Patriot Act and the "No-fly List" both of which were the a bi-partisan result of unbridled emotion (sound vapingly familiar) under the prior administration.

    Anyway here is my thoughts:

    - Who is to say they didn't get the issues from the environment
    - Who is to say it wasn't from smoking before they started to vape but only just recently showed signs?
    - Who is to say its not from other things such as working in a factory with chemicals?

I mean how much evidence do they actually have that all those cases are from vaping? Also why are all the cases from the USA? That seems fishy af

‘High-tech operation:’ Kenosha County brothers accused of making illegal vaping cartridges

My perspective on the THC Vape health issues (cannabis lab director) : electronic_cigarette

Need more proof? I got more. :)

Either way Im way more healthy than I was when I was a smoker. Yes the only thing you should be breathing in is oxygen but if all else fails which it did for me like nicotine patches, gum, cooldrops, etc then in my opinion vaping is the best thing. I used to have a bad smoker cough, couldn't exercise without coughing my guts up but now after years of switching its almost as if I don't smoke at all. I can breathe, exercise, and don't get severe cravings like I used to all thanks to vaping. I can tell you now that its a lot easier to go from vaping to not vaping than from smoking to non smoking. I've been vaping for about 4-6 years and haven't had a problem. Infact I got a chest x-ray because I was getting chest pain while as a smoker and they said my lungs were in perfect health but only after i started vaping. I can't guarantee this but I seriously think if I was still a smoker I would be dead or at least very ill.

I have never felt so better physically in my life since I started vaping from smoking. If they ban vaping it will only force people to go strait back to smoking which is something that will defiantly kill people not only that but millions on people per year. I'm not saying its perfectly safe to vape we never though it was but its deffienantly safer than smoking hence the reason why we switched.

Post of the day, Mr. President, and Minority Whip Durbin read this and then just shut up, leave vaping and us alone.

    Yap, its pass 100k

Thanks to everyone that can read something more than a few lines down. I will admit, I should've used a better link.

Keep sharing it! 100k is a drop in the bucket.

Ps. Why hasnt ECF pinned this post?
Its not like there is something more important at this point.
