Do all juices that use 100% PG have an aftertaste? I've tried TW, Johnson creek, dekang and a few other juice vendors I can't name off the top of my head and they all had a distinct aftertaste to them. I know it's not the nature of eliquid or my taste buds because when I vape 100% VG I don't get this taste.

Never vaped 100% PG but VG tends to mute flavors as I understand it. You may just be tasting something that was muted before perhaps even the nicotine (some people say it has a taste others don't).

Yes.

PG does have it's own "taste", kinda hard to pin it down if you don't have access to plain PG.

Normally I work with 70/30 to 50/50 mixes, just got some 80/20 in the mail, and I can taste their "PG-ness" more readily than the stuff I mix up myself.

Shannon is correct about VG muting the flavors, and also has a slightly sweet taste in an of itself to lend to the mix.

The flavors you are testing out, as well as the vaping method (atty vs carto vs tank etc) can have a huge effect on the taste as well. Attys (for me) are always used for dripping, get more flavor, which can also mean more "PG flavor" at the same time.

Cartos hide the PG flavor, due to their construction. Can't speak for the ceramic cartos, have not yet used those.

Tanks are somewhere between attys and regular cartos in the level of "PG taste" they give you.

Since taste is always so subjective, a big YMMV.

Hope this helps...
