Hey everyone!

I wanted to find out if I'm showing signs of a PG allergy or if I'm just adjusting to going from analogs to e-cigs. A few times on the first day vaping my throat would start hurting real bad when exhaling. The best was I could describe it was when I had strep throat. It would be gone within 5 mins and some ice water and it would be gone. Other times I vaped, I wouldn't have this at all.

Today is by third day vaping...This morning I woke up with some rawness on my tongue and roof of my mouth and I've noticed that my fingers are a little dry. Am I being paranoid, is this just part of starting vaping.

It it does sound like a PG allergy...what I should do... Should I purchase some VG juice and vape PG until then? Or should I -shudder- go back to analogs for a few days.

Matt, you're NOT allergic. You're experiencing the same thing ALL of us did. Sore throat is normal. So is the dry skin. PG dries you out, drink lots of water. And, in time, all this shall pass my son...:nun:

Don't know if you're allergic to PG or not, probably not. Domino's got it right == drink tons of water while you're detoxing analog poisons. I might add, though, if you get juice in your mouth, rinse, and don't overfill your carts. Juice on my lips makes them swell and burn because I have ultra-sensitive skin. That's me on my avatar -- most natural redheads have sensitive skin. Are you a redhead or do you have sensitive skin?

LOL, I used to do the same thing until I thought I would scream if I got another drop of juice in my mouth. I switched from cartridges to cartomizers, and I fill them only half full. I know people say you can get 23 drops in the cartos, but then you have about 6 puffs of spitting juice into a tissue and the running to the sink to rinse, what a PITA, LOL. Don't worry about the learning curve, it's painless. Happy vaping and welcome to ECF. Come back and ask away if you need anything else.
