if i increase the amount of PG in my e-liquid, should i also increase the amount of flavor.
for example if i make e-liquid for my dripper i use about 10%-15% flavoring and no extra pg
but when i make e-liquid for my kayfun i use the same amount of flavoring (10%-15%) then turn it into 50/50 PG/VG.
i notice that vaping the 50/50 is not as flavorful in my dripper or the tank as the max vg.. so should i add more flavor? my buddy says i need to just let it steep for a few weeks but i tried that and its still not as good (steep longer?). it was my understanding that PG helps carry the flavor better than VG. so i am confused at this point...
thanks.

Are you taking your VG mix and then adding straight PG to it? If so you are diluting it and will taste less flavorful, so you would need to add more flavor. Do you use a mixing program?

say i make a 10 ml bottle, i use 5 ml of PG including the PG based flavoring. then add my nicotine that is in a VG base and add the remainder of VG to give me a 50/50 PG VG mix. so no?

I suspect the device and not the liquid

i use the same wick and coil for both the max VG and the 50/50
and the 50/50 does not have as much flavor even when using the same percentage of flavoring. sure the throat hit is a bit more noticeable with the 50/50 but its a 1.8 coil.
this whole thing has me puzzled. my friend who has vaped for about a year also experienced it, so i don't think im crazy.
