What's the difference/advantages of PG versus VG with regard to the juices? The only thing I have tried so far is the PG, but I just started vaping yesterday. I've read some people are allergic to PG?

Should I try VG or a combination such as 50/50? There are so many choices of juice I am overwhelmed.

By the way, I started out with the Silver Bullet so that's the only e-cig I have used. I wonder if I should have started out with a mod right of the bat, but it seems to be working OK.

Thanks everyone for your help.

The incidence of allergic reactions to either VG or PG is very low. I use either a 50/50 or a 60PG/40VG mix. PG is the better flavor carrier and contributes to stronger throat hit. VG gives a smoother vape and produces more vapor. It also adds a bit of sweetness, but can mute some flavors in high percentages.

Are you dripping with your SB or using cartos?

Hey Caz,
Congrats on the change. I would try 100% VG & 100% pg first with 2 different attys. Then try a 50/50 mix and adjust from there. Make sure you use a 3rd atty for the new mix. I use almost 90% VG for the PG scares me. I have spent alot of time researching the differences in VG & PG. Make sure you use them unflavored first & see which experience you like/dislike.
This has worked for me in the same manner for different nic contents & diy flavorings.
The carts taste different so you would use the same technique with the cart.
Hope this helps. It is all trial and error & what works best for you.
Also don't be afraid to spend money tryin g out different things. Be wise though in choosing vendors. Make sure they have been used by others with good experiences. I found this forum to be a wealth of information.
Good Luck.
Happy Vaping!
