You have incorrect information.

PG is what makes the vapor when it is heated. Flavoring does what flavoring always does. So PG + flavoring = 0mg juice.

Exactly correct . and only other thing to add , is for more vapor , add some VG to your mix . You can get some at any Walmart , over by the pharmacy .

So if I'm reading correctly to make ejuice I can mix:
1 part PG (NIC or NO NIC type) / 1 part VG (for more vape) / Flavoring

That will work for a roughly 50/50 mix (flavoring is usually PG-base, so you will have a bit more PG). However, if you are using cartomizers, 50% VG is going to make it awfully tough. Try to shoot for 20% VG (1 part VG, 4 parts PG).

For my stuff, I usually mix a base of 1 part VG with 4 parts PG. This starts me out at 20% VG. Then as I add a bit of flavor, the VG settles somewhere around 17-19%, which is a nice blend for cartomizers.

Not exactly as stated if you are using nicotine. It depends on what mg per ml is in tha PG base. Nicotine can be purchased in different strengths and bases. If you were using 100mg strength nic in PG(1part)and you added VG(1part) you would have at that point 50mg per ml strength ejuice. By the same token if you started with 60mg per ml nicotine in a PG base and added another part VG you would then have 30mg per ml. Both are not including flavor which can vary anywhere from 10-20%.
Now, if you are not using nicotine you have to adjust for the fact that most flavors are in PG so if you want an exact 50/50 final blend.........
use a calculator!!

Thanks Jerkwater for the tip. I do use cartos and don't want a heavy pull. I currently mix two pre-mixed juices to about those same measurements. Good to know I can do this on my own

Hi Guys - just starting with e-cig's (been 2 weeks now) and have almost tossed in the TC already, I was chasing around on the net trying to find out some info on VG and got put onto one of your post's in this forum. So I had to join up and read up a bit about e-cig's
I rocked on up to coles (AUS) and bought a bottle of Glycerine (fauldings) and I have been playing around with all the empty carts I have, but tastes and smells like I'm smoking a bar-b-que lol - But I'm having fun and saving heaps, got plenty of vapour, just got to regulate the drops into the empty carts now....

Oh by the way you can use tobacco soaked in Glycerine and squeezed out to get a tobacco tasting liquid (missus thinks I'm nuts) lol

Anyhow thanks for all the info - I got heaps of reading to do now lol
