PG or VG help

hi i was wondering if the VG based liquid that you can buy tasts like when you add your own to a PG liquid, or does it taste the same, because i like the Vapor production on VG but the taste is not as good IMO on a DIY liquid.

i do think a lot of that is personal opinion. i prefer VG/G becuase it is a softer, sweeter flavor. to me, PG tastes slightly harsher and dryer than VG.

i use about a 70/30 mix of VG/PG when i make custom mixes.

well, that's aside from the PG based nic juice i use.

example:

20% of 36mg PG nic
20% Lorann (or other) flavor
60% VG/PG base (which is 70/30 vg/pg)

100%.

I use mostly PG liquid, but add 10-15% VG for the vapor, and then I can barely get the VG taste (I don't like it either).

Taste is personal preference.
I like to mix w/ VG because it is thicker and allows me to add more thin PGA.

So I was wondering I have a 24mg bottle of menthol and it has too much nicotine can I just cut it with PG or will that effect the strength of the flavoing? thanks

Sure you can cut it. Sometimes the flavor still shines thru.

I just ordered some flavors from Lorann and saw that they had glycerine. I figured for $2.99 I'd go ahead and order a 4-ounce bottle, but I know I've read somewhere that you should only buy the stuff that's pharmaceutical grade. Does anyone know if the Lorann glycerine is okay to use for mixing up e-liquid? If I need to get it from a pharmacy, that's fine, because I'll use the Lorann glycerine to make candy or something (they say that's what it's for....).

If it says "USP" then it's fine for vaping.

I got a bottle of Swan Glycerin USP and it is in what looks like a small hydrigen peroxide bottle...brown and light-proof.

Has anyone used the Swan brand?
