PG or VG?????

first i would like to say sorry if there is a posting on this already...

im a newbie at this and i want to know as much as everyone else...
all i know from reading some posts is that Pg gives more throat hits and Vg gives more vapor... why is this? and i know every person has their own taste but what do you prefer?

I've found a really like a mix of the two.

I've been doing some DIY, and I made one that's about 35% PG-based nic juice, 45% VG, 5% water, 15% flavor, and I think that's my sweet spot. Any more VG and I start losing flavor, any more PG and the vapor production goes down.

I still get decent vapor from 100% PG juice, don't get me wrong. But there's CLOUDS of it with some VG in there.

It depends on the individual.

Some people are allergic to PG so they go for VG.

Some people don't like the oily taste and lack of flavor of VG so they prefer PG.

You'll need to try both bases of the same flavor to decide.

PG and VG are different chemicals that vaporize at slightly different temperatures or one vaporizes more completely at the temperature a PV atomizer puts out, etc.

It seems to me that plain VG has a little more flavor of its own than plain PG has. Maybe that's why PG is better at ferrying the flavor of the mixture to your mouth.

I find 20%-30% VG gives me a good combination of flavor and vapor.
