PG reactions?

I have read somewhere that some people have an allergic reaction to PG liquid. I don't really know what the symtoms are. I myself mix my own e-liquids and I could never get the taste that I wanted, I would always get a bad chemical aftertaste especially on the exhale, it was terrible, stayed with me all day seemed like. I was mixing 70/30 PG/VG. Then I switched to 20/80 PG/VG and some at 100% vg. Now everything is great,in fact my mixes taste fantastic, the same or better than any supplier I have purchased from(just my opinion). I buy from PA and now mix at 5% and the flavor is amazing. Now I hope I didn't bore you to much! But I was wondering if this is a symptom.

I just started vaping....got 100% pure PG juices with mine, I dont taste any chemicals at all. Are you sure your cart filler isnt burning? I got some of that on my atomizer and whew....gross chemical taste...you do not want to be smoking that. I'm not sure if an allergic reaction would cause a bad taste ( like that anyway ), I would imagine a rash, or headaches....that sort of thing?

I know what you mean about the cart burning, I have had that taste more times than I can remember, very nasty for sure. I have to make sure I position the cart the right way on the atty all the time.
I am a chain vapper, so I tend to get the atty very hot. I hope someday someone will invent a cart that will not melt.
The switch for me to mostly VG has changed the flavor from bad to good for sure. No headaches or rash for me,thankfully!

Could be a reaction. Could be bad PG. Could be what your nose prefers.

Hmm...since I just started, 2 days ago, I almost immediately got a headache....right in the front of my head. All my juices are PG...I wonder if its the PG thats not working for me, or I got too high of a nic content. Still trying to figure that out....I got no rashes or scratchy throat or anything else....just the headache, so I'm trying to lower the nic first. I'm on day 3 now....only very mild headaches...and they seem to go away by the end of the day, so that too is pushing me to think its the nic, if it was PG allergy I'm sure things would get worse throughout the day no? I'm really hoping the PG isnt an issue for me because I really love the way it vapes. I havnt tried VG yet....do you find it makes a mess of your PV? It is thicker and I would assume it would get very gummy after a few hours?

If I vape too much I get a headache right on my forehead.

But, if I drink a glass of water and put down The Precious, it goes away pretty quickly.

You thin the VG so it will flow. Some use distilled water. I use PGA, and I imagine a few other use it too.

The headache could be caused by to high of nic level for sure, when I first started I was at 36mg, way to high for me, and yes I did get a headache, not a good feeling.
Now I'm a heavy vapper(chain vapper) at 16 to 18 mg, no headaches at all. The VG does not seem to clog anything up. the only downfall is that I'm filling the cart more often.
I have tried different PG fluids from numerous suppliers, even nic juices with more PG than VG, still tastes bad to me. So me and PG don't get along.
