pg versus vg

Hello all
Please give some info on the difference between vg ang pg. Does vg give a similar throat hit and flavor as pg? I've been using marlboro flavored juice in 24 and 36mg strengths since I stated vaping about a month ago. I use a Joye 510 XL atty and Xl cartridge with a ego battery. I am pleased with throat hit and flavor, but would like to try vg juice. A strong throat hit is most important to me.
And some advice on e juice vendors such as prices. Is $15 to $18 for a 30 ml bottle an average price?

VG won't give you as strong a TH as a mix of PG/VG or PG - it damps down TH more than PG does but produces more vapor.
I usually go with about 80/20 PG/VG mixes in most of my juices.
