SO i went to a new E juice shop where they make the juice when you order it. unfortunately they didn't offer me to taste test them first. Purchased 4 flavors, Blueberry,Chocolate,Banana nut bread and Candy apple. Here's the issue: All 4make me SUPER sick. It's like i am vaping pure perfume. is it from the 80% PG? All my other Juice i taste prior to buying at another shop which costs me $11+tax per bottle where this other shop that makes them in shop costs $7 a bottle, the $11 juice is mostly VG with beautiful flavours. IS there something i can add to the 4 juices to dilute them so i can use them or am i out $26?

Sorry for the poor grammar i am using my telephone.:D

set them aside for awhile. They have to "steep" .... age

open them and leave open overnite....
next day, replace cap and shake shake shake
place in a cool dark place....(closet, desk drawer etc )
after a week check them. Some take longer then others....

Thank you.
I'm scared to try them but I'll take your advice set them aside for a bit. My fav one is the banana nut bread can't wait for it to settle

This is going to be true for nearly all fresh mixed juice. Some improve only a little, some completely change (usually for the better). If after a few weeks they still feel harsh and scratchy, make you feel nauseous, etc, the high PG is probably not for you. Hopefully the cheaper shop is willing to mix higher VG ratios. The "perfumey" taste may come from alcohol in the flavorings, which is what the caps-off part of steeping gets rid of. Just don't leave the caps and drippers off for longer than a day because the flavor can start disappearing. Other than that... shake now, shake often. It helps everything mix together better and turn out the way it should. Good luck!

If I go back and get two of the same flavors in 50/50% I'd be OK ? That's all they offer is 80/20 & 50/50%s

Unfortunately I have no way of knowing what the mixes are on the other juices I have where they cost $11+tax. There made somewhere else and they order them in bulk. Sucks tho cause I'm trying to use less nicotine but there limited on nicotine %s. I have one fav and I had it in 24mg nicotine went back to get 6ml and all they have is 24mg and 0mg. Unfortunately 0mg has little clouds of vape but good flavor.

Setting the juice aside won't change a thing .. It is what it is

So, you have 80% PG and it makes you sick and the smell/flavor is overpowering.

Easy fix ... Got buy yourself a small bottle of USP glycerine and add some to your juice ... This will cut down on the percentage of PG and also make the juice less strong in oder and taste. As a bonus, the extra VG will also make more vapor than your getting now.

A small bottle of glycerine is cheap, but make sure it's [USP] glycerine.

Start out by adding about 25% of glycerine to however much of this juice you already have.

Next time make sure your juice is at least 50% VG

That will work perfectly.

Don't add water

I have another thread. With a photo of what I bought from rite aid as CVS was unable to find the product.

Yup, added 3/4 of 80/20 12mg to a protank mini added 1/4 USP, BOOM! Huge clouds like a train but lost 75% flavour so I'm going to have to try different mixes :) I have a few super strong juices like Java coffee and royal tobacco that could use some mixing just to lower the strong oder a Tad.

You got a lot of good advice here. Personally I don't like high PG. I'd atleast get 50/50 blend next time you go back :)

I wouldn't worry too much about the PG/VG ratio until you know for sure you are sensitive to PG. PG isn't inherently bad, its just that some vapers are irritated by it. Many are not. I think the best choice is to use 50/50 and adjust from there, just so you can get an idea of what works best for you. VG is smoother and creates more vapor, while PG transmits flavor better. Adding VG is the best way to smooth out a juice that is too strong or harsh.

But this brings me to my next point, and that is the nicotine level. 24mg is going to be very harsh if you are used to 6mg (too much throat hit). Nic% does not contribute to vapor production in any way, higher %'s just deliver more nicotine into your body (obviously) and increase throat hit. If you really want to buy from the store that only sells 24mg and 0mg (which is kind of stupid that they would do this), you could buy one flavor in a very small bottle of 24mg and a large bottle of the same flavor in 0mg, then mix them in a 1-to-4 ratio to get 6mg. Really they should do this for you, and perhaps they would if you called in advance and asked them to make you some 6mg.

I went to a store that literally only sold 18mg, but said I could get any % if I called 2 days in advance. I am hesitant to buy from them because there are plenty of other stores and online vendors who sell juice I like in any ratio without any additional hassle required.

I'm down to try the shop again and go with 50/50%. It's.my fault as I am a newbie and wanted cheaper juice to try and noticed on there website a few went with 80/20 (my mistake). The other store where they have an active juice bar but are limited on nicotine %s does not advise mods and when I asked them about a SMOK S.I.D they had no idea what it was. I found another awesome Vape shop called vapor connection where I bought some 18650s, it seemed like a Rad joint to hang out & try and buy some juices but there prices are a little high. Last thing I want is hassles so I'll go with my gut
