Oh, just a tumor, whew! You made it sound so serious, NOT! UR so funny!
Anyway, in addition to dehydration, and I know this sounds crazy, but low vitamin D levels can wreak havoc on your system and present as things you would never chalk up to a vitamin deficiency. I believe gout was on that list of ailments/symptoms. Food for thought.

I've got a bad water habit. It started with just a tap and some ice cubes. Then it started showing up in bottles with exotic minerals and bubbles.

Now I create cocktails with fruit, i.e. frozen mango chunks instead of ice cubes... Limes and mint leaves... Cucumbers... Even ginger root.

Try this for yourself. Right now I'm vaping a cola carto with lime water. Nice on a summer day.

BTW, transmothra,

"Just a tumor"? No offense, but you had me chuckling a bit on that one.
Hope that sucker doesnt have to be trimmed again. Sounds painfull.
Believe me, it was pretty hilarious, despite being debilitatingly painful

It turned out to be a glomus tumor. I had it for over ten years before i got fed up and saw a doctor about it. I'd seen a doctor long before that, but i guess the technology didn't exist at that point, so they wound up doing Electro-Galvanic Stimulation, which essentially means putting my arm into a stainless steel bathtub filled with Apparently Very Expensive Water, and then plugging the :censored: into a wall outlet. THAT was a fun drive home, let me tell you!

When they finally scraped it out, it was insanely painful, and no amount of painkillers would alleviate the pain. But it was so very worth it.

Lesson: keep at it until it gets figured out and can be fixed!

Gout can be in any joint..but as stated before it normally presents in joint just below the big toe. In the swelling to the to the side of that joint so it looks like you have a bunnion. The skin turns a bright red, swells to twice it's normal size and the skin stretches to where you think it will burst open. It usually happens in the middle of the night (no clue why) and you notice when the pain of a sheet touching your toe or a fan blowing on it causes you to want to scream out!
Walking or touching your foot to the ground is out. Elevating your foot is the only relief other then meds..no meds NO relief. It does NOT go away on it's own. If you had gout there would be no doubt and no delay in seeing the Dr. even at 3am.
I think your sound like you might have something else..especially since it is so many places at once.
Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
