I'm finally going to be getting my first PV later this week, and I'm wondering if anyone here vapes PG and works out or plays any sports? I'm curious if the lactic acid I've heard about creates any problems like increased fatigue or cramping. How long does it take for the lactic acid to show itself and how long before it's gone? Is it as simple as don't vape PG two hours before playing, or does it build up and take longer to dissipate? I was thinking of going VG put there was that scary thread that is making me think twice.

All thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Soon to be happily vaping :D

Hey CellWho,

I started working out again about a month ago(P90x workout) and playing softball. Before working out or playing, my last vape is usually 1 1/2 before start time. I dont notice a early fatigue issue but I have vaped 30 minutes before and noticed I fatigued quicker. I am sure it varies with everyone. A great benefit so far is that since switching to vaping, I dont fell nearly as winded as when I was on analogs, not even close. Hope this helps!

Your kidneys adapt within a few days of adding any new acid or base to the system. After a week, you blood should be back normal pH levels.

Muscle fatigue during exercise is due to buildup of lactic acid in the muscles (both intracellulary and interstitially), but systemic blood lactic acid levels from vaping won't contribute much because, as I said, your body pretty heavily regulates pH.

hrm. can't find an edit button on my posts??

glucose uptake by muscles is heavily insulin dependent. nicotine increases insulin resistance acutely, so if you are experiencing fatigue while exercising post-vaping, it is probably because of this.

I wondered the same thing. Your edit button magically appears after your 10th post.

The only thing I've felt so far is the benefits. My workouts only consist of treadmilling/walking right now but no difference in muscle soreness or lactic acid buildup so far. I've been curious about that myself. Was planning to do the weights again soon because I really miss that. Definitely not gasping for air anymore though so that's a big plus!
