I have similar concerns to your Winblows, and have a very strong desire to keep up a decent sized stash in case of looming regulations to things like liquid Nicotine being sold online, or just being sold in general. After reading up on this DIY forum, I did what seems to be the consensus with my Nicotine. I bought a lot of 4oz. amber bottles with dropper tops on Amazon, and then transferred a gallon plastic jug full of 100mg PG base into them and popped them in a box, and then in the freezer. Now I can simply have one out for my mixing needs, and when I need more, I just take the next bottle out of the freezer and let it "thaw."

I'm probably gonna do this again in the near future to have it on hand, but with the gallon I have currently, I'm set for the foreseeable future.
Great!
I thought the same solution, but in 50 ml (approx 1,7 oz.) bottles.
I vape 3mg/ml nicotine, 5-10ml a day. I also vape 0mg. A 50ml bottle of 100mg/ml should give me e-liquid for months including gifts to vaping mates :)
So, yes. That's what I'm going to do.
Thanks!

Most on here recommend Amber Glass Bottles with what manufacturers call either a Phenolic Cap or a Polycone Cap. They're screw on caps that have a cone-shaped plastic liner on the underside of the cap. You fill bottles up to within about 1/4" from the top, so that when you screw the cap on, that cone forces out the tiny amount of air remaining in the bottle neck.

I haven't read or heard of anyone using a dropper top on their nic base bottles for freezer storage. If it's the kind with the rubber bulb on it...those bulbs can/will deteriorate over time even exposed to regular air, let alone during storage in a freezer. Also, those types of tops are not impermeable to air.

If I were you, I'd check to see what the neck size is of those bottles. Then order some of the Polycone Caps in that size, from some place like GlassBottleOutlet.com. Use those to replace the dropper tops on your bottles of nic base in your freezer.

While you're at it, you might also want to order 2-3 of the 2oz. Amber Glass Bottles with the Polycone Cap on them, too...to break down a 4oz. bottle of nic base when you need some from your freezer stash. Rebottle that 4oz. bottle into (2) 2oz. bottles. Put 1 of them back in your freezer. Keep the other 1 out, to use for your "working bottle". The smaller the bottle of your working base is...the less nic base that will be exposed to air and light while you're using it.

Well, I went on Amazon to look for those bottles, and yep, they have them. Turns out that's exactly what I have mine in, I just wasn't thinking about it apparently when I typed my initial response in this thread.

Nonetheless, thanks for bringing it up to me. I really didn't buy bottles paying attention to the caps, and now I know I need to in the future. Just got lucky this time I suppose.

VG goes sour and acidic when it oxidizes. One year max at room temp is my rule.
PG two years unless kept sealed, dark and cool. Manufactures say use withing 2 years.

I don't know when you had this happen to you but I have juices that are well over a year old and are still fine with no sour or acidic taste. These are predominately VG juices. As far as two years go with PG, I believe that 2 years is as long as the certification last and there fore what they can put on the lable. I believe it can then be tested and re-certified for two more years if it was still in the lab.

There is no need to stock pile VG/PG as it should be readily available from non vape sources post deeming (in the US any way), but I don't believe it will go bad very quickly as long it is kept in a cool and dark place like a basement closet or the such.
