PG%VG% mixing confusion

Hi all,

I've been looking around at the various e-liquid calcs out there but I haven't found one yet to help with my current mixing delima.

I have a high nic concentrate (100mg/ml 100% PG) that I want to cut down for safer storage and use but the non-nic base liquid I bought to mix it with is 50% PG & 50% VG.

I am trying to get my final nic-base mix down to a 50/50 of PG/VG. I'm used to working with a 48 mg/ml nic base if this info helps.

Does anyone know of a calc out there that will allow me all the variables that I've got to work with here to get to what ever various size container that I will be splitting it into?

the best u could do w/ that is 75% pg...

I guess to truely get to a 50/50 ratio I'd have to use seprate VG base to add into the equation (which I do have some).

I thought I once saw a calc out there that did allow you to add various quantities of PG and VG to get the % that you are looking for but haven't been able to find that calc since then. How else are some folks able to come up with a 70/30% mix or the like?

If you want 50mg nic it's easy but you'll actually need 100% VG. Just mix:

1/2 100% VG
1/2 100% PG 100mg nic

That will give you 50mg 50/50 PG/VG

Using any of the 50/50 0mg nic base you won't be able to get exactly 50/50 in your final product. you need the 100% VG for that. You could get close but the nic would be lower (1/4part 100mg PG, 3/4part 50/50 would give 25mg strength and it would be 62.5PG/37.5VG)
