Went to vape shop and purchased. when I went home the label said 60:40 when I asked for 40% PG and 60% VG. I was confused so I called the shop back, and I was like, usually it is PG:VG, I ordered 40% PG and 60% VG so why does it say 40:60 (PG:VG) ? He said that some shops did it that way (backwards {VG:pG}). has anyone ever heard of this lol? PG:VG...vs...VG:pG? Isn't that like L x W haha or am I mistaken?

I wonder if "we" couldn't influence those making e-liquid to simply label PG with a percentage, like 60%PG and just leave off the VG.... or vice versa. I mean we all know you can't have 101%+ liquid, so just label the highest content. Kind of like 10% ethanol gas.... we never see it listed as 90/10 or 10/90..

But still, isn't that weird to do VG:pG and not have it labeled that way? I ordered 40%PG and 60%VG and still the bottle didn't say anything except 40:60. It listed the ingredients with PG as the first ingredient also- which would indicate that PG was the majority of the solution even though it isn't- and b/c PG was the 1st ingredient listed, I would think it would be a PG:VG ratio; what most stores/sites do.

I'm going to start doing this just to cut down on key strokes when I'm on my phone. Great idea and it makes perfect sense!

I agree p7willm, I tend to look at all things viping related with the same view... What can "WE" do proactively now, to remove the ability of government involvement.
Simple things as labeling and safety caps can be changed in weeks or with new batches made. Other things I see being used against us, such as brass and copper use where it contacts e-liquid... is much harder as some, such as me, see a huge potential problem, and others don't.
All in all, I love ECF for being a place all of us, no matter where we are in vaping, can come together and talk about these things, make changes to ultimately help US without or minimalizing the down sides inherent when government "helps" us.

Confusing indeed. Also, I personally think all vendors/suppliers should list the content ratios on their products...some do, many don't. I vape max VG and when I'm shopping online for premixed juice I often disregard and do not consider those which don't have any percentage ratios listed. I would expect this has somewhat of an impact on sales.
